Jupiter’s so bright, I gotta wear shades …

Crappy conditions again. No surprise considering its just my backyard. Jupiter is visible between houses for about 30 minutes. This time I managed to get a few hundred shots. I wanted to get enough light from the satellites for Registax to generate something credible.

Jupiter is so bright that no cloud detail could be seen. In hindsight, I should have used my atmospheric filter. Maybe in the next few days. The weather looks promising. At least I finally was able to capture three of Jupiter’s Satellites.
Note that since the telescope lens reverses the image, I actually flipped the above image so that its in-line with what Stellarium shows for Sept 19 … pretty close.
